The 666 beast nature, the ego, the self, the I apart from I AM, is the throne of all satanic power and authority on the earth. In that the whole world is in the evil one is seen by these three things, the lust of the flesh (see Galatians 5 for its fruit), the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life which are at work in the sons of disobedience. To be in subjection to these, that is to be ruled by them, is to be in the Evil One, to live in this present evil age. In contrast, to be in subjection to the Spirit of God is to be in Christ, to partake of the powers of the age to come. Praise be to God who has set us free from this present evil age and grafted us into the eternal vine of Christ by His Spirit!
