The Spirit of Babel and the Great Spirit

What is the tower you are trying to build? What is the height you are trying to reach?

What is the old saying? What goes up must come down. Look at the ancients, how they built the Tower of Babel to reach the heavens. What was the end result? It’s fall, and great was its fall! Do you think that it was by the Spirit of the Lord that they tried to build this tower? This spirit is completely contrary to the Spirit of the Lord. It is Antichrist. It is the great king spoken of in Isaiah saying,

“How you have fallen from heaven, O star of the morning, son of the dawn! You have been cut down to the earth, You who have weakened the nations! But you said in your heart, ‘I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God, And I will sit on the mount of assembly In the recesses of the north. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.’ Nevertheless you will be thrust down to Sheol, To the recesses of the pit.”

You see, the Antichrist spirit always seeks to ascend and in so doing it falls to the lowest depths. The Spirit of the Lord, on the contrary, seeks the lowest place, humbles itself, and in so doing is exalted to the highest heaven (heights). This is what is spoken of of the Prototype, the Firstborn, in Philippians 2…

So I will ask you again…

What is the tower you are trying to build? What is the height you are trying to reach?

What is the spirit that you are of?
